Mobilidade urbana e transporte público coletivo no espaço urbano de Goiás/GO

Abstract

The present work deals with the issue of urban mobility, having as object of study the urban mobility through public urban transport made by bus, and its role in the scope of the local urban space. The research was carried out through several stages, such as: we made a theoretical approach to some concepts that would help us to understand the dynamics of collective public transport in Goiás/GO, including the concept of mobility, city and public transport. The second step was to understand the dynamics and functioning of the collective public transport in the city of Goiás, routes, schedules, we try to understand the difficulties and benefits that this transport brings to the Vilaboense population, through questionnaires. After the information obtained, we made an analysis of how mobility is urbanization in the city of Goiás promoted by public transport. With this work it was possible to understand the main difficulties of the public transport system in City of Goiás, and how is the mobility of residents who use this means of transport transport to move. The research also contributes to geographic studies, for mobility and quality of life studies.
