A violência no cotidiano da Escola Municipal Padre Eligio – cidade de Itaberaí-GO – 2011

Abstract

This work analyzes the rate of violence in the daily life of the Municipal School Padre Eligio, in 2011, located in the city of Itaberaí-Go. With this, a study of everyday life and violence as an interference in social relationships. However, Regarding current discussions regarding education, authority appears as one of the main causes that influence the disciplinary issue. Therefore, research based ethnographic study with the 9th year elementary school class at a municipal institution in teaching, investigates how teachers have worked with school violence, in the search for show authority as a way of maintaining discipline in the class. Therefore, it is important to note that authority has a disciplinary function, being necessary for individuals to interact in the classroom, aiming to build a concept of discipline that is not imposed by laws arbitrary, but rather, that contributes to a negotiation of clear and objective rules, leading to the student to have good social relationships in the school environment so that they develop autonomy and a perception of geography that forms citizens who have a critical view of reality.
