Abstract

This work addressed the issue of climate, in its scalar particularities seeking to identify a climate microphenomenon in the city of Goiás as well as the perception of the population of Vilaboense regarding the variation in temperatures between the regions of neighborhoods of Carmo and Centro Histórico, firstly a theoretical basis was made on the study of climate and perceptions. Seeking to understand the physical aspects of the geography of city of Goiás seeking justification and proof of the phenomenon. This study has also the intention of understanding the way in which the population of Vilaboense understands the climate of the city. From this perspective, the student population and the neighborhood population were asked about how these characterize the city's climate, knowledge and proof of the variation in temperatures between the banks of the Red River and the way in which that the climate influences your daily life. The study of weather and climate, on smaller scales constitutes an important factor for the construction of Brazilian climatology, and its dynamics that directly influence human actions. From this perspective, the population researched, presented her perception about the climate of the City of Goiás and the variation in temperatures between the regions of the neighborhoods of Carmo and Centro Histórico. The study presented seeks to demonstrate the reality of the climate in the City of Goiás.
