Síndrome de burnout em professores e o trabalho alienado

Abstract

The present work aims to analyze whether Burnout Syndrome in teachers is related to alienated work. It proposes to analyze the literature on Burnout Syndrome and alienated work. The aim is to identify the causes that trigger the syndrome and also the effects and consequences. The research is justified by its social relevance, as it is proposed to be a contribution to the study of Burnout Syndrome, a current topic in society, which is related to the terrible conditions of teaching work. Burnout Syndrome affects many teachers, however, this is a topic that is still little known. Professionals often suffer and do not even know the name of this disease. Knowledge about the syndrome is essential to be able to propose effective alternatives for eradicating, preventing and promoting workers' health. The methodology used sought to explore the school universe, focusing on teaching work. To do this, we use observations and questionnaires to collect data. The target audience were teachers working in the classroom. Starting from the assumption that the alienated worker performs mortifying work and great suffering, we seek to discuss the concept of alienated work, which is also the main tool of our analysis, in order to verify whether alienation is a factor that triggers the Syndrome of Burnout.
