Desafios e possibilidades do ensino de lutas nos primeiros anos do ensino fundamental: uma revisão da literatura

Abstract

Despite the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC) ensuring the teaching of struggles in basic education, it is clear that this content is neglected by teachers who, for convenience and safety, prefer to work with team ball sports in their classes. Therefore, this work aims to identify the difficulties in the application of Wrestling in Physical Education classes and to investigate what the literature points out as possibilities in the face of the problem. It was used in the screening of the production of knowledge about the struggles in the methodology, the survey of academic works, in the main journals in Brazil (Base of Dissertations and Theses of CAPES, Periodicals of USP, UNICAMP, UFG, UNB and Google Scholar), in the period from 2019 to 2022, related to the theme of struggles in Physical Education in Elementary School. At the end of the entire selection, 14 academic productions were chosen for analysis. The results presented indicate that the content of struggles is neglected in Basic Education by most teachers, based on the justification of lack of didactic material, adequate space, proper clothes, incentive to violence and for not having had a good experience of the content in graduation. It is concluded that a deficient initial training, with regard to the content of fights, contributes to the abandonment of this practice in the school environment. However, fighting/opposition/combat games become essential tools for the teacher to be able to apply the content without the need to be an expert in some type of fight.
