Procedimentos comerciais agrícolas na região norte do Mato Grosso

Abstract

The expansion of soybeans in Brazil took place in the 70s with industrial interest, mainly in the manufacture of soybean oil. In 1975, soybean production was carried out using foreign cultivars and techniques, mainly American techniques, but largescale cultivation was only effective in the South region, where the cultivars obtained an environment similar to the conditions of the country of origin. The soy planted area has grown in Mato Grosso, as well as production. The export of soybeans plays an important role in the economy of the state of Mato Grosso. Araguaia has been present in the Brazilian market since 1978, the company has grown and consolidated itself in the heart of Brazil as one of the largest and most respected distributors of fertilizers, soy seeds and agricultural products in the Midwest. The internship is the first contact with the job market, this allows the intern to get to know their skills, contributing to the development of a solid career. The objective of this work was to present the routine of the intern participating in the internship program of the company Araguaia S. A. Highlighting some of the experiences lived by the intern within the company. Experience with the implementation of soy farming, starting from the adjustment of equipment such as solids distributors using the methodology presented by the company that uses the Adulanço worksheet, seeders and sprayers that had all the nozzles checked with a flowmeter, to the monitoring and control of pests and diseases, where caterpillars and bedbugs were found in addition to some foliar diseases and everything being controlled with the management of products present in the company's portfolio. The internship enabled the relationship with professionals working in the labor market, with ethical posture and attitudes observed that will be of great value in the professional and personal training of the intern.
