Educação física na escola: uma reflexão sobre os motivos que levam as alunas a participarem com restrições das aulas de futsal

Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the female participation in the practice of futsal / soccer, in the school environment. For such, it was used as methodology of data collection, a questionnaire consisting of 12 questions being 8 of them closed and 4 of them closed but required a dissertation complement, the questions approached has as principle to examine if in the selected schools there was the offer of futsal modality / soccer as content of Physical Education; if the group investigated had any experience with it; how does the occupation of sporting spaces occur during recreational moments, as occurred the search for the practice of the sport and especially if there is any prejudiced manifestation directed to the practice of these girls referring to futsal. The questionnaire was based on the framework of Sousa Jr. and Darido (2002), and was applied to 30 students from two public schools of the state of Goiânia-GO, in order to answer the hypothesis raised at the beginning of the planning of this work. . We conclude that futsal as a content of Physical Education, being considered only for men, generates restrictions on female participation.
