Arte, desenho e educação: uma análise de Van Gogh

Abstract

This is a study on the contribution of drawing to the formation of the individual in society. In this way, the objectives of the research is to understand how drawing plays this role. The research is based on the following problem: can drawing be used as an educational instrument, which provides training for the individual who establishes contact with it? To carry out this study, we took as a source of analysis the specific case of Vincent Van Gogh. In order to solve this problem, a bibliographic review was carried out on the concept of art, relating it to the analyzed artist. In this way, it was possible to understand that drawing can indeed be used to provide training to the individual, this becomes clear when analyzing the artist Van Gogh, who is a very important aid for the elevation of the creative potential. Therefore, with the results of this research, I hope to contribute to making society aware of the importance of drawing, extinguishing the look of a discipline focused only on leisure, with ready-made drawings and also contributing to the improvement of the professional life of artists in this área.
