A sexualidade infantil à luz da teoria freudiana e a compreensão da temática no trabalho pedagógico de unidades de educação infantil de Uruaçu

Abstract

With a qualitative and exploratory nature, the following monographic project aims to highlight child sexuality without the cultural and social barriers to which they are imposed, as well as its approach in the educational context. The aim is to pay attention to the specificities to which the child is subject, regarding their sexuality, since this is something inherent to the human being and has accompanied him since birth. The research includes a theoretical basis that is anchored in the studies of Sigmund Freud, specifically in his famous work “Three essays on the theory of sexuality of 1905”, which illuminated the understanding of children's sexuality. There is also a focus on the relevance of teacher training and training to work in this area, as well as family participation. Seeking to investigate the work and pedagogical perspective that early childhood education unit educators take on children's sexuality, field research was carried out. As elements of this research, data collection instruments were constructed in the form of open questionnaires and field observation. The data collected through observation had great relevance for the analyses, which attempt to show approaches to sexual orientation in the educational and family context. From this perspective, it is highlighted that child sexuality still faces major barriers in school spaces and in our society in general. There are many challenges to be faced by future education professionals, however, with adequate training, they will be able to contribute to students' training free from resistance and prejudice.
