As memórias de Pilar: a história e a historiografia de Pilar nas séries do ensino fundamental primeira fase

Abstract

History is necessary in schools. For this reason we are faced with the following question, how is the story of Pilar de Goiás taught from the first to the fifth year in public schools? Since we understand this to be a crucial step for students to expand their knowledge about the history of the city and the region where they live. To this end, this research is supported by documents written and written by residents of the city and surrounding areas. With this, we seek to demonstrate how historical accounts about the creation and development of the city were transmitted to these people by their predecessors. Furthermore, our study proposal is dedicated, among other things, to understanding the way this history is being taught in municipal schools. In addition to our objectives, we will investigate how the history of black people distanced itself from the memory of the creation of the city, given that in our first observations we found that they were the precursors of the Papuã quilombo. Such evidence listed here will give us the opportunity to clarify whether the history of the city's founding, shared through memories, is told based on the actions of black people in the region or whether they are reports that only deal with the deeds of the pioneers who colonized that location.
