QUAL ELETIVA ESCOLHER? UMA ANÁLISE DE PROJETOS ESCOLARES DE LÍNGUA INGLESA

Abstract

The integration of projects into the teaching of the English language has emerged as a fundamental tool to enhance students' learning. This study aims to explore the importance of school projects in the context of English language teaching, focusing on the educational approach based on this methodology. This article seeks to analyze and discuss the relevance of school projects in the context of English language teaching, more specifically, in elective subjects at two full-time schools. The article investigates how project-based education influences the English language teaching-learning process, highlighting the intersection between this methodology and the development of linguistic and communicative skills. Through the analysis of projects implemented in schools, we seek to understand how these practices impact the learning of the English language, examining how the teaching of this subject is enriched by the construction and execution of educational projects. We are based on the theoretical repertoire of Bender (2015), Anjos-Santos, Gamero and Gimenez (2014), Silva (2019), Behrens (2014), among others who contribute to these discussions.
