Abstract

The choice to study the municipality of Urutaí/GO after the insertion of the railway and/or railway is due to a specific interest of a historian who considers it important understand why the railway brought so many changes to the municipality. Therefore, the The general objective of this research is to understand the changes that have occurred in the city of Urutaí/GO in the period between 1914-1976, considering the implications of the “Iron Road” on these changes.
