A MARCA DO REGIONALISMO NO POEMA “O POETA DA ROÇA” DE PATATIVA DO ASSARÉ

Abstract

In order to carry out this research, we are based on Benveniste (2006), Labov (2008), Luyten (2007), Lyons (2013), Martelotta (2008), Saussure (2006), Silva (2000), and others. Using these same authors, this work deals with the historicity of linguistics showing how it has been subdivided the paths followed by each strand. There will be differentiation of language, language and speech and also their connections, from there will be shown how culture and identity are formed, what influences they receive. To talk about the regionalism of the poem "The Poet from farm" will be done a research on Cordel Literature pointing out this simple and rich regionality to the work. The poet Antônio Gonçalves da Silva (1909-2002), better known as a poet from Assaré, was born in Ceará and became one of the main representatives of the Northeastern popular tradition. The poet, who from a very early age had to become a farmer to help the family, due to his father's death, sings with propriety the sertanejo people. Thus, in his texts, through a simple language, he relates the experience of the sertanejo with his sufferings, his bitterness, his joys, sensitizing his readers. With this, the purpose of this work is to approach regionalism in the poem "The Poet from farm", from Patativa do Assaré.
