Pequenos brincantes da cultura popular: desafios e possibilidades na Educação Infantil

Abstract

This work aims to analyze and discuss the specificities of Early Childhood Education and its possible interlocutions with some manifestations of popular cultures. As a result, a pedagogical proposal was developed and systematized with the intention of presenting some possibilities of manifestations of popular cultures in Early Childhood Education in order to contribute and guarantee the integral formation of children, as well as access to manifestations of capoeira and bumba meu boi. Dealing with manifestations of popular cultures in Early Childhood Education, via Physical Education, is a way of ensuring that African and indigenous culture can be approached in a pedagogical and intentional way, as it is part of the identity of the Brazilian people. In this way, the proposed activities were elaborated from elements that deal with the children's universe such as: ludicity, play, creativity, imagination, storytelling and with many colors and movements. For this, a bibliographic survey was carried out related to childhood issues, popular cultures and the importance of playing in Early Childhood Education. Thus, being the pedagogical proposal produced for this work, it was elaborated with the intention of becoming an ebook, a material of access and support for teachers of Early Childhood Education, being the same, interactive, with links to access videos, images, song suggestions among others.
