Concepções de educação física em um centro municipal de educação infantil da cidade de Goiânia

Abstract

Early childhood education in Brazil is a fundamental stage in the development of children, and is therefore regulated by specific legislation that aims to guarantee access, quality and safety at this level of education. It is the first stage of basic education, based on the full development of the child up to the age of five, in physical, psychological, intellectual and social aspects, complete family and community actions. The processes involving education are directly related to the global and regional historical context, where it has always been a tool to help specific members of a population. In the city of Goiânia, we find the Municipal Early Childhood Education Centers, where there is currently only one intervention by pedagogues, which refers to the target audience of the research, which seeks to understand the importance of Physical Education classes in Early Childhood Education from the perspective of pedagogues, through interviews, seeking to understand the place of body language in the pedagogical work developed in this field. The research highlights challenges faced by pedagogues, such as the lack of specific training to deal with body culture. It highlights the diversity in the experiences of the interviewees, seeking a comprehensive analysis of the approach to Physical Education in Early Childhood Education. The analysis of the responses reveals the complexity of the educational scenario in Early Childhood Education, highlighting the concern of pedagogues in meeting the interests of children, even in the absence of a Physical Education teacher.
