Festival esportivo cultural da Eseffego: a história do FEC e as percepções de seus organizadores sobre esse evento

Abstract

The ESEFFEGO/UEG Cultural Sports Festival is an event that is part of the academic calendar and the history of this institution and despite already being consolidated and maintaining a certain frequency in its holding, there is still no work on the topic. The research object of this work was to investigate the history of this event and analyze the perceptions that those who participated in the organization had about this event. The data collection procedures were through the application of a form through GoogleForms. The form included 19 closed and open questions where those who responded were able to describe their answers in relation to the organization of the event and the FEC itself, in total 27 responses were received. Furthermore, the professor in charge of the event organization discipline who, together with his class, designed, organized and carried out the 1st FEC was interviewed to report the cuts and historical moments of this first event. Many of the primary characteristics of the FEC prevail until its current editions, such as being an event with broad participation by the unit, promoting integration, in addition to sports competition, games, workshops, lectures and other ways of integrating into its cultural part. One cannot fail to report and reinforce that each edition is particular and ends up highlighting characteristics of the current situation of ESEFFEGO/UEG at the time in which it takes place.
