Relação recepção-ataque durante o campeonato mundial de clubes de voleibol masculino 2021

Abstract

The effectiveness of the attack seems to be directly associated with a good reception. The present study aimed to further analyze the reception-attack relationship of the teams that participated in the 2021 Men's Volleyball Club World Championship and to verify if in complex-1, the reception directly influences the final result of the attack. Ten matches were analyzed, totaling 990 actions of complex-1 (side-out) that resulted in an attack. Data reliability was established through Spearman's correlation between evaluators. Comparisons of variables were performed using Pearson's Chi-Square test. The significance level was 5%. The results showed that pass A and pass B increase the frequency of a successful attack (point) when compared to pass C, and pass C presented a higher frequency of unsuccessful attacks (continuity or error).
