Pedagogia histórico-crítica, educação física e educação infantil: encontros e desencontros

Abstract

The present study aimed to verify if there are publications in the area of Physical Education in Child Education that are Based on the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Historical-Critical Pedagogy. For this, from the approach to the Historical-Dialectical Materialist Method, a bibliographic research was conducted in order to identify textes published between 2012 and 2020, in four brazilian periodicals on Physical Education: Magazine Brasileira de Ciências do Esporte; Magazine Movimento; Magazine Pensar a Prática; and Magazine Motrivivência. The results obtained from the bibliographic survey led us to a total of 2670 publications made in the periodicals, within the time frame of the research, where 49 texts (1.84% of the total) were showed a direct relationship to Physical Education in Child Education. Of these, 12 texts (0.45% of the total) presented, in their bibliographic references, classic authors of Historical-Critical Pedagogy and Critical-Overcoming Methodology. After analysed, we found that only 2 texts (0.07% of the total) presented to have a direct relationship with the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Historical-Critical Pedagogy. We conclude this research by indicating the need for an articulation between Child Education and Physical Education in the critical field. We understand that only from the expansion of the debate and publications will it be possible to advance in investigations that will favor greater production in this educational area. We hope that this work can auxiliary (future and current) Physical Education teachers understand the methodological bases of Historical-Critical Pedagogy and its fight against the hegemonic form of a Pedagogy for Child Education.
