Educação física escolar no ensino fundamental no município de Goianira: a importância do professor de educação física nos anos iniciais

Abstract

Physical Education in elementary school has its importance for improving various aspects, physical, social and psychic. Among them, it is worth mentioning the benefits in dynamic, diversified and well-planned classes, in which the interaction between students when relating socially promotes the ease of expressing feelings, improving motor, cognitive and psychological control skills. This study was developed through field research, with the objective of understanding and analyzing how Physical Education is a curricular component in the early years of elementary school in the municipal schools of the city of Goianira, which can thus bring some benefits to students within classes, pointing out their general aspects; physical and motor aspects; social aspects and psychic and psychomotor aspects, taking into account its relevance and benefits in the educational scope. In view of the relevance of Physical Education, the practice of physical activity in this age group (06 to 13 years) is essential because it enables the improvement of body skills, avoids sedentary lifestyle and promotes the health and well- being (physical and mental) of individuals, interdisciplinarity and transversality were also worked, developing aspects related to growth, body culture, affectivity, cooperation, physical aptitudes and in the process of citizen education. Given the importance of Physical Education classes also in the reflective critical development of students, therefore, their classes should be dynamic, motivating and stimulating.
