Chácara e Pousada Dona Sinhá, Cidade de Goiás : significados e ressignificados

Abstract

This work deals with the resignifications and transformations through which space passes and what are the effects of these changes in the cultural context, addressing the cultural landscape as a demonstration of human modifications in space. It shows that these transformations influence the culture of a society, culture understood as material and immaterial. It presents the appreciation of the culture present in historical monuments and the importance of these monuments for the continuation of a story. The aim is to show the importance of education focused on the topic heritage, seeking to emphasize heritage education aimed at residents, in addition to indicating that this education must begin from the earliest years schoolchildren. This way, residents can understand why they should preserve and only then will they start charging tourists who visit the City of Goiás an appropriate attitude. This title of historical heritage of humanity conferred by ICOMOS/UNESCO can influence local culture, but on the other side of the This aspect also interferes with tourism, which can bring positive and negative for local society. As a result, the culture of this region has different meanings, where residents and tourists are the focus of this discussion. To understand the representation and meanings of the object of study, which is the Dona Sinhá Inn for the population and tourists was also made a approach using mind maps, which shows how each individual identifies the space in question and what meaning and symbol it has for the Vilaboenses in preferably those close to the Dona Sinhá guesthouse and farm.
