Inteligência artificial aplicada ao mercado financeiro e suas contribuições no setor bancário

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of science widely used by the financial system today. In recent years, several financial institutions have turned to new technologies as a means of accelerating growth and productivity. It is possible to note that the advancement of AI and its technologies in the banking sector has been changing the dynamics of the banking market, impacting users and financial institutions themselves. Given the above, this study exposes the following problem to be investigated: Is the financial market prepared for the challenges and possibilities that may arise with the implementation of AI in the financial sector? Is the use of Artificial Intelligence in Banking Institutions safe? What advantages can users and banks gain from AI? From this perspective, the main objective of the research was to understand the relationships between artificial intelligence and economic activity in order to contribute to the development of literature in the area of AI and in financial areas. Through a bibliographical review with a qualitative approach, using a descriptive approach, it was possible to conclude that the advancement of technology in the banking sector has changed the dynamics of the banking market, from the positive impacts on the consumer to the impacts suffered, such as a drop in the number of agencies, improvement in processes and development of a new business model.
