O atendimento ao aluno surdo em uma escola pública do município de Luziânia GO

Abstract

Education for the deaf has been changing over time and with it many barriers to be overcome. However, inclusion is still an ideal to be achieved in favor of an education that values the differences and limitations of each individual. The research has as its theme the service to the deaf student in a public school in the city of Luziânia-GO, and aims to analyze how the service works to the deaf student in the municipality of Luziânia-GO. The research sought to answer the problematic how the service works to the deaf student in the municipality of Luziânia-GO? The research of a qualitative nature has the method of field research and was carried out at a municipal school in Luziânia-GO. In order to obtain the data, the semi-structured interview is used in this research and as a participant the pedagogical coordinator and the regent teacher of the class. For the construction of the theoretical basis, the following authors were used: Mazzota (2011), Novaes (2010), Vigotsky (2011), Damázio (2007), among others. One can see a school space concerned with the teaching and learning of the deaf student in the classroom, taking into account the teacher's effort to make adapted teaching materials. Finally, there was evidence of great difficulties for this work since there is a lack of resources indispensable for inclusive education, such as the Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE), the investment in teacher training, the support of a multidisciplinary team, besides having exclusive classes for the care of the deaf student, not being included in common classes.
