As contribuições da educação infantil para a construção da autonomia pela criança

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contributions of Early Childhood Education to the development of autonomy that needs to be acquired by children in the early school years. This study was carried out through bibliographical research of the main theorists who investigated the theme. The first chapter presents the construction and development of autonomy for the child following the ideas of authors Piaget, Vygotsky, Freire, among others. The second chapter deals with Child Education in Brazil and its relationship with child development. The third and final chapter analyzes how Child Education can mediate the construction of autonomy by the child. The school's function is, among others, to train competent, supportive and responsible people who can become good citizens, able to build a better future in their nucleus of coexistence, thus contributing to the future of their country. In view of this, the school space needs to be aware of this important role and reorganize so that its mediating practice occurs in an efficient and meaningful way in the formation of autonomous, reflexive and critical children.
