Tangram e geoplano : auxiliadores da aprendizagem geométrica

Abstract

This paper aims to present the factors that led to the teaching of geometry to be constrained to the background over a long period, and show initiative of scholars to transform the teaching of it on a conscious practice and understanding, among which we highlight the couple Van Hiele theory and its development of geometrical thinking. Throughout the research emphasize the importance of using different methodologies, specifically the welding materials used in teaching geometry. Among the various branches of welding materials, we used the original Tangram and the Geoplan five to five to support the study of area and perimeter of geometrical plane, we show that these materials should be used with bases in proper planning, which should specify the goals implementation of welding materials in a particular content, it presents some of its potential as allowing students to create hypotheses, questions, test solutions, reflect on the many ways of resolution. We conclude our research with the implementation and review these materials, and with the certainty to invest in methodologies that help students build learning understandable, it is certainly a good way to conquer a more enriching education on all aspects.
