Abstract

The general objective is to research prejudice in the teaching of the Brazilian Portuguese language. Just- The study was carried out in the 3rd year of high school at the Centro de Ensino em Período Integral Pro- fessor AlcideJubé from Cidade de Goiás-GO to research linguistic prejudice. The person The field research was carried out using an ethnographic diary and was aided by questionnaires. rio, textbook analysis and essay corrections. The theories that guided this work were due to the fact that all language norms have ordered heterogeneity, the levels and modes of variation present in multiple aspects of the language and which can encourage change and the proposal for Pedagogy of Variation. The central theme is prejudice linguistic influenced by differences in prestige and understanding of norms, by scientifically unfounded myths about the language and the reality of Brazilian teaching sileiro. In general terms, the research provided the understanding that teaching in the classroom observed is influenced by teaching materials coming from government bodies and oscillates between research innovations in the area of sociolinguistics. However, the treatment of heterogeneous and changing reality of languages and the fight against linguistic prejudice is still done very superficially.
