INCLUSÃO DE ALUNOS COM AUTISMO NOS ANOS INICIAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

Abstract

The inclusion of autistic students in regular schools is currently a reality achieved a few years ago. And for this to happen, it was necessary to implement many laws to materialize this process of inclusion, which is so important for Brazilian society, which starts to respect differences and believe that everyone is capable of participating in the teaching and learning process. This work aims to reflect on the inclusion of students with Autism in regular schools in the early years of elementary school and research the structural conditions of the school and its faculty for the insertion of these students in regular school. During the field research, the observation instrument was used with a field diary record and the questionnaire applied to teachers and parents of students with Autism, whose focus was to know their knowledge about ASD and the methodologies that can favor the inclusion of these students. in the school environment. The main characteristics of children with ASD in the early years of elementary school and the potential of experiences at this stage of Education will also be highlighted, based on family contributions. It is concluded that family is one of the pillars for the learning process of children with ASD. When the family is supported by a multidisciplinary team, in which the pedagogue participates, this same learning process of children with ASD is enhanced.
