A FORMAÇÃO POLÍTICA DOS PEDAGOGOS DO MUNICÍPIO DE VALPARAÍSO DE GOIÁS

Abstract

Given the daily struggle faced by parents, approaching the pedagogue, the political struggle of this class is seen as the starting point for changing the current situation of dismantling education as a whole. It is in the fight for a better education that educators can guarantee their rights and demand changes. This research aims to analyze the limits and potentialities of the political formation of pedagogues (as) of a municipal public school in Valparaíso de Goiás. In addition, the following are proposed, as specific objectives: i) to present the historical, legal, epistemological context of teacher training (a) in Brazil; ii) understand what are the environments of political training of pedagogues (as) and the ways of carrying out this training, according to research published between 2011 and 2021; iii) investigate the limits and possibilities of political formation in the voice of educators and in the PPP of a public school in the municipality of Valparaíso. The investigation has a qualitative approach, with the use of bibliographic research, research in legal norms, State of knowledge, analysis of the PPP to compose the theoretical corpus. In the empirical field, the investigation uses field research to gather data and records through the application of a joint assessment and conducting a semi-structured interview. This research is based on the authors Freire (2021); Saviani (2011); Mello (2007); Ferreira (2017); Weber (2019) and Boito Jr. (1999). This study seeks to answer the following problem: What are the limits and potential of the teacher training policy at a municipal public school in Valparaíso de Goiás? Therefore, investigating training environments, as well as the ways in which this training takes place, is fundamental for analyzing the role of training policy in the worldview and political action of teachers in the classroom and in society. From the field research carried out, it was verified the importance of unions in protecting the rights of teachers in Valparaíso de Goiás, the policy of absence of teacher training in the PPP of the institution, as well as the aversion towards the activities of political formation and the political disengagement of pedagogues.
