FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE PARA INCLUSÃO E PROCESSO DE ENSINO E APRENDIZEGEM DE ALUNOS COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA – TEA

Abstract

The object of study of this work is the proposal of how teacher training has been developed with students with autism spectrum disorder. The general objective was to analyze the training of teachers for inclusion and the teaching and learning process of students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder in elementary school; and as specific objectives: to analyze in a brief conceptual theoretical contribution about teacher training and Autistic Spectrum Disorder; Identify the impasses and facilitating resources for the inclusion and teaching and learning process of students with ASD. In this way, we used the method of a qualitative bibliographical research, and a field research carried out in a Municipal School in the city of Luziânia Goiás, in order to answer the following problem: how has inclusion and the teaching and learning process with children with autism spectrum disorder in mainstream schools? Since it is still poorly understood, this research identified some difficulties and the way teachers act towards children with ASD, such as: the lack of specific training. In this sense, it is extremely important that the teacher is didactically prepared and has specific knowledge (specializations) to meet the needs and also be able to understand the family side (context), providing the necessary support and school guidance.
